Spreading the Music Spring Recital

Spreading the Music students will perform a piece they have been working on this semester, showcasing their process and performance. It highlights our music school's strengths and talents, Spreading the Music and connecting to students, teachers, friends, family, and community.

• $20 for guests 12 years and older, $5 for kids' table (Reserved for students 5-12), and student performers are FREE.
• Main Entrance: Corner of Cadiz and St. Charles.
• Street Parking on St. Charles, Cadiz, Carondelet, or Jenna St.
• Sound Check: Performers must arrive 20-30 minutes early to test the piano and complete a quality sound check.
• Performers will sit in concert order in a sectioned area.
• Formal attire.
• Pictures and group photos are allowed before and after the performance.

• Confirm the Recital Time with your teacher directly before purchasing a ticket.
• 30 students maximum performance.
• When you arrive, be prepared to show your tickets. Students will be asked to find their name tags and sit in concert order in the front row.
• Students can perform a maximum of 2 pieces for up to 5 minutes.

• Reception! In the downstairs undercroft after the performance.
• Students are registered on a first come, first serve basis with an initial limit of 30 students per recital time.
• Confirm with your Spreading the Music teacher which recital you are performing in BEFORE purchasing your tickets.

• When you arrive, performers will be asked to find their names and will be seated in concert order in the front row.
• Dress Rehearsal rehearsal at Spreading the Music (2436 Valence St) Friday, April 4th at 5 pm-7 pm

Spreading the Music is an Uptown New Orleans music studio providing private music lessons, group classes, rehearsal space, and community outreach to schools and churches since 2016. Our mission is to embolden, support, and inspire teachers, students, musicians, and the larger community to Spread the Music to the best of their strengths and talents. We teach all ages, genres, levels, and instruments and help build existing music programs in schools and churches.
