About this Event
Join us to develop your family friendly offer!
Trying to work out how to develop and deliver your family friendly offer? Looking for support and advice on how to develop a project idea, reach new family audiences, and understand what they want from your organisation?
Then this is the training session for you!
Not only will this session support you in networking with other sporting heritage organisations looking to develop their family offers, it will also provide you with practical advice and guidance to take straight back and put into place in your own work.
And, hot of the press........this year's National Sporting Heritage Day on the 30th September 2024 will also be the Kids in Museums Sporting Heritage Take Over Day! We'll be joined by Kids in Museums to give you advice and ideas about how to create your own events and activities.
Finally, we'll have case studies demonstrating ways to link sporting heritage and family audiences, an opportunity for Q&A discussion, and breakout room networking sessions which will include:
- Nation focus
- Sport focus - for example Football Heritage and Rugby League Heritage
- National Collections of Sport
- Heritage Champions - sports clubs and governing bodies representatives
Our networking events are free of charge to all delegates, but for organisational purposes we do ask that you only book a space if you are able to attend.
This event is made possible with the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the amazing players of the National Lottery!
