Join us on Zoom for a relaxed and friendly untutored life drawing session, open to drawers of all abilities and levels of experience!
About this Event

If you’ve never tried life drawing online before, this session is great place to start. You’ll be drawing from a model posing live over zoom alongside sketchers of all abilities, from around the world. The unclothed model will hold five 1-minute poses, five 3-minute poses and a final 30-minute pose. The session is untutored with a session leader on hand to offer help and we’ll have a different model posing virtually each week – if you’d like some pointers on getting started, take a look at this video HERE.

Our model this week is to be confirmed. The session will be led by Sara Reeve. Sara is a Brighton-based artist and tutor at Draw - she hosts the weekly daytime life drawing sessions and runs in-person classes in painting portraits in oils.

Before the session

Before the session, make sure you have a Zoom account and drawing materials for the class
At the advertised time of the session, set yourself up to draw in front of your device, sign in to Zoom and click on the link in your email to join the class.

Looking after the model

Please, never take photographs or screen shots of the model

Keep your camera ON during the session – this helps the model to feel safe and to maintain the sense of community that is so important to our classes. If you cannot turn your camera on, let the session leader know with a message at the start of the session.
