Our annual Wheel'n'Walk 2024 will take place on Sunday 2nd June 2024, starting at 11am, at The Bandstand Area of Cannon Hill Park. Each year our event grows and this year we are proud to be joined by 13 other organisations supporting families within Birmingham. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and funds for our organisations.
The sponsors of the event, Fitnniss and The Dhol Crew, will lead a warm-up session to get everyone energized and ready to start walking, wheeling, being pushed, scooting, cycling, or whatever method they prefer for moving around the park.
The event is fully inclusive and accessible to everyone, including friends and family members. Each circular lap around the park is approximate 1km and everyone walks, wheels, scoots to achieve their personal best. So, some people will walk 1km and some have been known to walk 10km. It is completely up to the individual đ At the end everyone receives a certificate, medal, and chocolate bar.
There will also be prizes for those who raise the most money in sponsorship. I have attached an information sheet which provides more information regarding the event.
It really is a great day and all the money raised for Noahâs Star really makes a difference to the support we can offer to premature babies and their families.
