About this Event
Akanji Studio Wellness and My Friend Jen present a spoken word poetry workshop created for people living with sickle cell and chronic pain.
This session offers a gentle creative space centred on softness, honesty, and care. Participants will be guided through reflective writing and creative exploration, with time to pause, rest, and engage at their own pace.
There is no pressure to perform and no expectation to share. Listening is participation. Stepping back is welcome.
You do not need to be a writer or spoken word artist. This space is about expression, not output.
