Painting Progress - Spoken Word Event

Join us for a powerful evening of spoken word, set amongst the artwork of our current exhibition. Surrounded by bold visual pieces, we invite you to bring your own voice into the space; share your story, your reflections, your truth.

This is more than an event; it’s a gathering of expression. A space for raw honesty, creativity and connection. Whether you are an experienced performer or stepping up for the first time, we welcome you to be part of an evening where words meet art and voices resonate amongst the pieces that inspire them.

Feel free to perform whatever themes or topics you like, although we encourage themes of ‘stages of being’ and ‘the passage of time’, aligning with our visual art exhibition.

Tickets start at £5 for performers, and £6 for attendees. We strongly encourage donations, as all proceeds will benefit the Cotton Tree Trust, a charity that supports asylum seekers and refugees in London.
