Spiritual Connections to Healing explores the natural pathways to supporting one’s health and spiritual well-being through the scope of herbalism and aromatherapy and some history thereof. In an approximately two-and-a-half-hour course that provides three unique but conjoined perspectives, participants will learn:
● The Medieval roots of herbal healing via the tradition of monastic gardens with a special emphasis on the history of St Hildegard von Bingen from herbalist and writer, Lisa Ritter Grabenbauer
● A brief history of aromatherapy as a complementary practice in prayer and contemplation, with a special guided aromatic contemplative journaling practice from certified aromatherapist and Reiki practitioner, Erin Littlewood
● Practical applications of modern herbalism with today’s special needs in mind, from clinical TCM herbalist, Ramona “Mo” Tortorilla, RH
