About this Event
Friday 6th December 2024
730-10pm BIJA YOGA, 1C Castlereagh Street, Penrith
$63/$54 EARLY BIRD PRICE booked before 6th November
Drawing heavily from practices featured in her father, Master Harish Johari’s book ‘Dhanwantari’ [God of Medicine], as well as other sources, Seema Johari Agarwal teaches us how to live our lives ‘undisturbed’ by worrying thoughts, and how to come closer to our true nature: that which is all-expansive, unhindered and unfettered.
Practical lessons on how to develop an unshakeable sadhana (conscious spiritual practice) will be taught including:
MORNING + EVENING RITUAL – now very much part of the modern yogi’s spiritual toolkit; creating and adhering to a morning routine in order to set up one’s day with genuine focus and high intention can elevate the mundane to the Divine. But what about Evening Ritual? Develop practices to have truly restful sleep - that is, going to bed without anger, resentment or worry.
PRANAYAMA – enhancing and controlling one’s vital energy through specific breath practices
MEDITATION + MANTRA - how to observe one’s thoughts and what to do to change them from rumination to affirmation.
