*SPIN are introducing free, private, criminal justice legal consultations for members not in receipt of legal aid (limited slots available).
Please email [email protected] to book a consultation or to check eligibility. Criminal justice legal consultations include issues such as:
1. Domestic violence & all forms of abuse - what police do to investigate abuse and what support services are available throughout the process of investigation/prosecution
2. What to expect, who's who and the process of criminal courts
3. Dealing with police and how to make complaints to them
4. What type of orders criminal courts can make e.g restraining, non-molestation etc and what they mean
5. How to go about giving evidence using special measures
6. What elements of an offence need to be proven for a conviction
