If your sales currently feel a bit scrappy, inconsistent, or overly reliant on luck and word of mouth, this session is for you. Give your sales process the oomph it needs to feel focused, energised and organised.
Part of the Sales Skills Bootcamp, this practical session is open to people who want a clearer, more confident approach to sales. We’ll be joined by two sales experts from our network who spend their days building and refining sales processes that actually work – Fran Fone, Group Head of Sales at PLATF9RM and Freedom Works; and Callum McGranaghan, Director at Social for Good.
Between them, they have built sales strategies from scratch, led and grown sales teams, and helped businesses move from reactive selling to more intentional and effective.
This session is all about getting the foundations right and giving you a clear and practical framework to work from, covering:
- How to set up a sales process from scratch
- The key ingredients that make a sales process work
- What is fundamental to a successful sales strategy
- How to build a pipeline of warm, realistic leads
- How to grow a business by designing a sales strategy that fits your goals
- Common challenges in sales, and how to overcome them
We’ll also explore how sales works day to day once the foundations are in place - including building and managing a sales team as you grow; monitoring activity and pipeline; plus using a small set of core principles to guide decision making. There’ll be plenty of time to ask questions, sense-check your approach and learn from others who are figuring it out too.
If you are running a business, or are responsible for sales, and want a process that feels clearer, calmer and more consistent – rather than something you avoid until you really have to – come along to find the structure and confidence to get started.

What's the refund policy? Places are limited, and events are usually oversubscribed. Please give two working days’ notice via email for a refund* or you’ll be required to pay for your place in full.

Can I attend if I am not a member of the Chamber? If you have never been a member of the Chamber you can book and join as a guest at two of our events (just one Chamber Breakfast).
