A cozy writing workshop & wine night for women. Come spill your words onto the page and with each other, try not to spill the wine :)
About this Event

Spilled Writing Club is a women's writing community in Brooklyn, NY. We meet via live writing workshops & wine nights for women of all backgrounds and writing levels.

This is more than a typical writing workshop. It’s a cozy and intimate wine-sipping, diary-reading kind of experience. A space to spill stories that make you laugh, truths that bring you to tears, and perspectives you thought no one else would understand.

Inspired by late night heart-to-hearts with your best friends, Spilled is a third place where you can put it all on the page and connect with other women along the way. Each workshop blends curated readings with thoughtfully crafted writing prompts, alongside open circles of sharing. There’s no pressure to perform, no expectation to be “a good writer,” and no need to arrive with anything prepared other than an open mind and heart. We provide all of the writing materials and a beautiful, literary wine bar setting. Just come as you are with a willingness to listen and share.

Spilled Writing Club is an inclusive, welcoming community for women from all walks of life who crave depth, connection, creative expression, and believe that writing can be both a personal practice and a shared experience.

The workshop will be moderated by Kelsey Kirk, the founder of Spilled. Kelsey is a Brooklyn-based writer and strategic communications pro who believes some of the most powerful stories we’ll ever write start as whispers between women.

Come write. Come sip. Come spill (words, not wine).

Limited to 30 guests.
