About this Event
Spilled: A writing workshop & wine night for women of ALL backgrounds and writing levels.
This isn’t just a writing workshop — it’s a cozy and intimate wine-sipping, diary-reading kind of experience. Spilled is for the women who’ve been through it and are ready to write their way into something softer, freer, or simply more seen.
Inspired by those late nights sprawled out on the floor sharing stories with your best friends — and that special moment when someone cracks the conversation open to vulnerability — Spilled is a space to put it all on the page and feel less alone while doing it.
We’ll gather at Liz’s Book Bar in Carroll Gardens for two hours of guided writing prompts, sips and snacks, and optional sharing — all wrapped in the energy of late night vulnerability and the quiet joy of feeling held, seen, understood.
The workshop will be moderated by Kelsey Kirk, the founder of Spilled and holder of the pen behind What Went Unsaid. Kelsey is a Brooklyn-based writer and strategic communications pro who believes some of the most powerful stories we’ll ever write start as whispers between women.
Come write. Come sip. Come spill (words, not wine).
Limited to 25 guests.
