Join us for a relaxed queer cinema outing at a local independent venue as we come together to watch Blue Jean (15).
Set in 1988, this powerful British drama follows Jean, a closeted gym teacher navigating life under a new law that stigmatises gay and lesbian people. As pressure mounts from all sides, the arrival of a new student catalyses a crisis that will push Jean to the edge.
This is a low-pressure, social trip—come along to connect with others and share in queer storytelling on the big screen. Attendees are responsible for purchasing their own tickets, and exact meeting details will be shared closer to the time.
