About this Event
Welcome to SpeedMagic Central London! Join us for an exciting event full of magic and surprise, happening at a location on Blackfriars Road in Southwark (address will be emailed to you after ticket purchase - it will be a fairly quiet hotel bar). This unique gathering offers amateur magicians the opportunity to showcase their tricks, gain valuable performing experience and sharpen their skills in a supportive environment.
Based on the popular speed-dating format, you will sit for 10 or so minutes with a fellow magician and show each other your two or three prepared tricks, gaining feedback and advice from the other magician. You then move down one table and repeat the exercise with the next magician. This event is specifically tailored to help you conquer your fears of performing and gain valuable experience and feedback in the company of like-minded magicians.
If you can, please try and bring one or more Halloween-themed tricks; otherwise just bring any tricks you like.
Please bring your own cards and props and please be polite and critique honestly but diplomatically.
Please do not bring outside food or drink and please do not treat this as a dating event!
