Kat Suwalski’s Spring Training for Strength is designed to build functional strength through essential, full-body movements like squats, lunges, pushing, pulling, and core work. Whether you’re brand new to strength training or already experienced, this 60-minute class will help you develop confidence using hand weights. (Please bring your own weights from home or use those provided in the studio.)Kat breaks down each movement with clear, practical instruction so students can safely build muscle, improve stability, and enhance their yoga practice. Proper weight- training technique will be demonstrated and emphasized in order to protect our bodies from injury.
Known for her casual, joyful teaching style, Kat makes strength training approachable and unintimidating. She has guided countless students through the fundamentals of weight training with intelligent clarity, helping them feel stronger, more capable, and empowered in their bodies.
A consistent weight-training practice is linked to higher bone density levels and overall strength improvement for lifelong wellness.
