Join us for a hands-on evening of creativity, craftsmanship, and calm as Zen Den Bonsai Workshops brings our signature boutique bonsai experience with one of our NEW species, the Serissa Japonica (Snowrose/Tree of a Thousand Stars) to the welcoming space of Wood Foot Beer Co! The Serissa is a beautiful flowering bonsai known for its tiny leaves and delicate white blooms. When in bloom, the tree can become covered in small star-like flowers, making it a stunning and rewarding species to shape and grow.Previous bonsai experience is helpful but not required. If you have taken one of our Dwarf Jade beginner workshops, this is a great opportunity to expand your collection. Curious beginners who enjoy gardening and learning new skills are also welcome.
During this immersive two-hour workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of the ancient art of bonsai—from potting and pruning to shaping and wiring—guided by our expert instructor, John Hunter. Each guest will receive a beautifully pre-pruned bonsai tree, a high-quality Japanese ceramic pot, and a complete aftercare kit to support your tree’s growth long after the night ends.
