Area senior citizens and district staff are invited to join us for a FREE special performance of The Drowsy Chaperone, presented by the talented students of Stillwater Area High School.The Drowsy Chaperone is a five-time Tony Award-winning musical that pokes fun at 1920s American musical comedies. The story is shown through a character called the “Man in Chair,” who plays a fictional 1928 cast recording in his apartment, and as he listens, the musical comes to life around him. The show is known for its clever jokes about musicals themselves, energetic dance numbers, and silly, over-the-top plot, making it a “perfect Broadway musical.”
