Special Film Screening – April 7 at 6:00 p.m.
In addition to the annual Eric Fischl Lecture Series, Phoenix Art Museum will host a screening of the documentary Pretty Dirty: The Life and Times of Marilyn Minter on April 7 at 6 pm.
Directed by Jennifer Ash Rudick and Amanda Benchley, the film follows the life and career of artist Marilyn Minter, tracing her path from a Southern childhood and New York’s underground art scene to her place in today’s global art world.
The screening will be followed by a 20-minute Q&A with Marilyn Minter, moderated by producer Debi Wisch (The Art of Making It, The Price of Everything), discussing the documentary and Minter’s work.
Free admission for Maricopa Community Colleges students and staff with valid ID.
