About our DJ: Jun stumbled into the world of Argentine Tango while being a student at Yale, expecting a dance class and finding instead a lifelong obsession. She fell hard—not just for the elegance and intensity of the movement, but for the music: raw, emotional, mischievous, sublime. A devoted yogini and teacher as well, Jun approaches DJing the way she approaches breathwork: with presence, sensitivity, and a touch of play.
Her DJ philosophy is simple: be of service to the dancers. She listens deeply—to the floor, to the room, to the unsaid. Whether you're longing for a soft sigh of nostalgia or some playfulness that electrifies your molinetes or a tanda of intense passion that takes you beyond time and space, Jun’s musical selections are designed to hold you, move you, and invite you into something just a little larger than yourself.
Her tandas have traveled far and wide, playing to passionate crowds at festivals and marathons across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. From the poetic intimacy of Seoul’s milongas to the ecstatic energy of Italy, France, Greece, Poland, and Mexico, Canada, Jun crafts each set as an emotional arc—a dance floor odyssey for connection, healing, and shared joy.
Now based in California, Jun continues to DJ, dance, and build communities grounded in warmth, depth, and delight. For her, tango is an outward journey that begins with a first step inward. Through both yoga and music, she lives by this credo: hold space, listen and flow.
