Welcome to my special mother's day sound bath-honouring women and tapping into our creativity through sound
Date: Saturday, May 15th 11-12.30pm
Location: The OpenDoor, 32 Church Twitten, High St,Lewes
Thinking about the women who have inspired us, this gathering invites you to come alone or with your mother, daughter or son, to honour female energy. We begin by reflecting on the women in our lives, then you are immersed in a deeply nourishing sound bath of gongs, Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, drums, flute, chimes and other therapeutic instruments. These healing vibrations gently release physical and emotional tension, calm the nervous system, enhance mental clarity and rebalance your energy and emotions. The sounds also stimulate creativity by activating theta brainwaves and the pre-frontal cortex.
Afterwards, over a comforting cuppa, you will transition into quiet reflection, journalling and/or drawing to explore what has surfaced within you. Spaces are limited, please book in advance. £30 per session, including a warm steam eye mask and a small goody bag.
Treat yourself to an hour or so of self-care, reflection, and connection with other amazing moms. Take a break from your daily routine and indulge in activities that will nourish your mind, body, and soul. Don't miss out on this special event created just for you!
