About Bobby:
Dr. Robert A. "Bobby" Savoie currently serves as the Dean of the College of Business at Loyola University New Orleans — bringing with him a remarkable career spanning engineering, technology entrepreneurship, and civic leadership.
Bobby is the founder of Integrated Resources Group (IRG), which he launched in 1986 and grew into a thriving technology firm before merging it with Science & Engineering Associates (SEA). As President and CEO of SEA, he led the company through explosive growth — scaling revenue by 700% in five years to reach $124 million annually, with four subsidiaries and 14 offices across 10 states. Most recently, he served as CEO of Geocent, an IT and engineering services company, until its acquisition by Sev1Tech in 2021, after which he served as Chief Science and Engineering Officer.
Among his many honors, Bobby received NASA's Distinguished Public Service Medal, was inducted into the LSU College of Engineering Hall of Distinction, and had the Dr. Robert A. Savoie College of Engineering at the University of New Orleans named in his honor in 2021.
Bobby holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Sciences from the University of New Orleans, an MBA from Loyola University New Orleans, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from LSU. He serves on the boards of the National World War II Museum, the UNO Foundation, the LSU National Board, Idea Village, and the Aerospace Alliance, among others.
