Anamaría Villamarín-Lupin, LCSW-BACS

Director of Specialty Practices, Community Impact | Manning Family Children's

Anamaría Villamarín-Lupin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (LCSW-BACS) with a career defined by one unwavering commitment: making the world a better place for children to thrive.

Born in Colombia and raised in the United States from age 12, Anamaría brings a deeply personal understanding of the immigrant experience to her professional work. She earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from Williams College and her Master's in Social Work from Tulane University, and has called New Orleans home for over two decades.

Currently, Anamaría serves as Director of Specialty Practices in Community Impact at Manning Family Children's, where she oversees transformative programs including The Parenting Center, the GNO Immunization Network, the Miracle League, and the forthcoming Walker's Imaginarium. Her work sits at the intersection of clinical expertise, systems thinking, and community care.

Prior to this role, she served as Deputy Director of the Mayor's Office of Youth and Families, where she advanced child well-being through cross-agency coordination, equitable policymaking, and intentional engagement of immigrant and newcomer communities. Before entering city government, Anamaría spent ten years as Wellness Director and Clinical Supervisor at the Broadmoor Improvement Association — an organization nationally recognized for its post-Katrina revitalization efforts — where she co-founded a food pantry, built comprehensive counseling services, launched a continuing education program for mental health professionals, and created a practicum field experience for MSW students.

All NOMAR agents are invited. No RSVP required.
