Resetting the Table’s celebrated workshop offers communication skill-building for difficult conversations and a framework for vibrant dialogue across diverse viewpoints, backgrounds, and generations.Participants exchange views and personal experiences, surface differences and commonalities, and practice skills for addressing differences honestly and constructively. The workshop builds community capacity to explore differences while strengthening relationships, trust, learning, and collaboration.
Outcomes:
Participants will learn and practice two foundational skills for communication across differences of background and viewpoint.
Participants will deepen relationships and experience meaningful dialogue on important issues and dilemmas with other participants.
Participants will learn tools and exercises they can replicate in their own communities and institutions.
