Speakeasy at the Firehouse: A 1920s Mystery Night

Speakeasy at the Firehouse is a one-night-only 1920s mystery experience set inside the historic Tampa Firefighters Museum. Part cocktail party, part interactive case, part living history, this fundraiser supports the museum’s mission of fire history preservation and children’s education programs—while also helping stock toy chests for hospitalized, abused, and neglected children across Tampa Bay.

Guests enter with secret passwords, receive an Agent Casefile Passport, and move through the museum gathering clues from firefighter artifacts, “witness” stations, and upstairs ballroom moments. The story is inspired by Tampa’s real Prohibition-era speakeasies and unsolved patterns, blended with a fictional case you’ll help unravel.

At the same time, we’re collecting toys for our partners in law-enforcement community outreach: bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Christmas-in-July toy drive, and you’ll receive a $10 discount on your ticket as our thanks. You can easily buy one online now.

What to Expect

The Speakeasy at the Station event will be rescheduled for after the holidays, as many expressed disappointment over conflicting holiday plans. We want everyone to share in the fun! While the exact date is still being finalized, within a few weeks of the holiday season’s end, the museum will once again be transformed into a captivating 1920s mystery, immersing guests in Tampa’s real Prohibition past. Wishing everyone happy holidays and thank you for your enthusiasm—we’ll announce the new date soon!

Info: VIP Ticket holders are welcomed through a separate secret entrance and ushered up to the private bourbon tasting room. There you will taste bourbon from a few distilleries and then engage in a quick card game that will give you a bit of the mystery and warm you up for the activities of the night.
VIP guests will receive their Agent Casefile Passports and join the others as they file in and everyone waits for to be briefed.
Light appetizers and 2 drink tickets with access to cash bar after are some perks that VIP will receive and an edge, no shenanigans. All edge.

Info: Agents will use the password that is emailed to you after you buy your ticket. Do not rely on overhearing another guest. There are multiple passwords for optimum secrecy. You will receive your Agent Casefile upon arrival, and you can relax, get comfortable and explore the fire station. VIP will join you and together you can wait to be briefed on the mystery at hand.
