THE EVENING
Some Saturday nights you forget by Sunday. This isn't one of them.
An intimate venue in Toronto's Distillery District. Music that sets the tone before anyone says a word. A guest list of Toronto singles who are done with the apps, done with the confusion, and ready to be somewhere that was built—genuinely and carefully—for them.
HUMRĀ events are not bar nights with a matchmaking label. Every element of this evening has been designed with one question in mind: what does it actually take for two people to feel something real? The answer, in our experience, is never more options. It's the right room, the right conditions, and a little bit of willingness to show up.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Your evening begins the moment you walk in—welcome cocktail already waiting. From there: a charcuterie spread, a guided cocktail-making experience, and three curated compatibility stations, each one designed to reveal something of true value about the person across from you. Not what they do for work. Not where they went to school. Something real.
And at one carefully chosen moment during the evening, every guest receives their live compatibility match on their phone. Simultaneously. The entire room, at once.
There is nothing else like it in Toronto.
HOW THE EVENING FLOWS
7:15 PM — Arrival Doors open. Your welcome cocktail is waiting. The music is already on. You don't have to do anything yet except arrive.
7:30 PM — Doors close. The evening begins. Out of respect for every guest in the room, we close the doors and begin on time—no exceptions. The opening activity sets the tone for everything that follows, and we want you to be part of it from the start. Please plan to arrive by 7:15 PM.
7:30 PM — The Icebreaker We ease you in. A lighthearted opening activity designed to get you moving, get you talking, and get you out of your head—the way only the right kind of distraction can. By the time it's over, you'll already have someone to explore the rest of the evening with.
Throughout the evening Three compatibility stations. A cocktail-making experience. Charcuterie. Conversation that goes somewhere. Each element designed to let real chemistry surface on its own terms—not pushed, not forced, not performed. You'll understand what we mean when you're there.
The live match reveal At a set moment, every guest receives their highest compatibility match simultaneously on their phone. Entire room. One reveal. Same moment.
When you arrive, a QR code will guide you through a short compatibility questionnaire—about 5 to 8 minutes. The results stay private until the reveal. Then everyone finds out together.
11:30 PM The evening ends. What happens after is up to you.

Toronto singles in the 35–50 range, ready to be in a room where something real might actually happen. We keep the guest list intimate by design—not because we had to, but because we know that's where connection lives.
Our last event sold out in 7 days. At our February event, 95% of guests had their highest compatible match in the room that night. We don't say that to impress you. We say it so you understand what kind of evening this is.
DRESS CODE
This is the Distillery District on a Saturday night and you already know what that means. Come dressed for the evening you want to have—elevated, considered, the outfit you save for somewhere worth going.
Smart casual at minimum. The room will match your energy.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Check-in opens at 7:15 PM. Doors close at 7:30 PM sharp—the opening activity begins immediately and late entry is not available. Please plan accordingly.
- Please arrive with your phone charged. The compatibility questionnaire and live match reveal are both delivered via QR code on your phone.
- The 35–50 age range is a guideline. Everyone is welcome.
- Tickets are non-refundable. If something comes up, email [email protected] at least 48 hours before the event and we'll do everything we can to help.
- Full venue address and everything you need to know before arrival will be sent to ticket holders by email ahead of the event.
- HUMRĀ facilitates introductions and curated experiences. We do not guarantee romantic outcomes.
