Life on other planets
Fancy a relocation to Mars? Come see Olaf Stapledon’s lecture notes on how humans would live on other planets in the solar system.
Stapledon was born and lived his life on the Wirral and became one of the most influential writers of science fiction.
Over his career, Stapledon gave hundreds of lectures on topics from atomic power to world peace.
You will have the opportunity to handle some of the lectures about space and biology that would influence his most famous books such as Last and First Men (1930).
There will also be another session on 26 May on Fantastic Fanzines.
