About this Event
Spend time with us in Philadelphia this January! We look forward to gathering with friends, program alumni, donors, and past farm guests to enjoy the wonderful community that Spannocchia has in Philadelphia. Our Italian colleague, Laura Capalbo, will be joining us from the farm, and will have news, program updates, and maybe even some special treats to share.
Delicious appetizers will be provided by a talented trio comprised of Laura and two other Culinary Apprentice alumnae who live and work in Philadelphia: Santina Renzi (Summer 2023) and Alessandra Bonafide (Summer 2025). We're so excited for them to come together to create food for us to enjoy at this event.
is a relatively new, small winery on the border of the Olde Kensington and Fishtown neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Owners Tom and Sydney make natural wine using Pennsylvania-grown grapes, and we're thrilled to be able to hold our event in their tasting room space. Note that beverages (Pray Tell wines and non-alcoholic alternatives) will be available for purchase.
