Looking for a creative workshop in Wicklow?
This relaxed, hands-on candle making workshop for beginners is a simple and enjoyable way to learn how to make your own natural soy candles from scratch.
No experience needed, just come along and enjoy the process.
What you’ll do
During this 2-hour workshop, you’ll:
- Make a soy wax candle (250ml glass container)
- Create your own soy wax melts
- Design your own scent using essential oils and/or fragrances
- Add optional decorative finishes to personalise your candle
What you’ll learn
- The different types of wax used in candle making
- How to adjust wax for better results (soft/hard finish)
- Choosing the right wicks and fragrance levels
- Practical tips for making candles again at home
