The 2026 season of Portland Sunday Parkways Presented by Kaiser Permanente will begin with the Southwest Portland event on May 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Southwest neighbors and Portlanders alike are welcome to explore the scenic rolling hills along the 2-mile multi-modal route or the 2.6-mile walking route. There will be five featured activations, including Gabriel Park, Village Park, Multnomah Arts Center, Multnomah Village, and Spring Garden Park. This open street event has no official start or end location, and participants are welcome to join at any point along the route. There will be activation areas along the route where circulation slows for vendor marketplaces, community booths, free family-friendly activities, and live entertainment. The event route is designed to highlight the network of neighborhood greenways and other infrastructure, parks, and community resources.
