The South Bay Boardriders Club proudly presents the South Bay Surf Awards an annual celebration of the best surfing captured throughout the winter season.
Join us for an unforgettable night bringing together the South Bay surf community surfers, photographers, filmmakers, surf shops, and local supporters for a high-energy awards show honoring standout performances in the water.
This is more than a competition it’s a community-driven showcase of talent, creativity, and heavy water moments from across the South Bay.
Awards Categories Include:
• Biggest Wave
• Ride of the Year
• Barrel of the Year
• Air of the Year
• Female Ripper
• Grom Hardest Charger (18 & under)
• Wipeout of the Year
• Youth Short Film Greg Browning Award
Entries are judged from submitted photo and video content, highlighting the most impactful rides and moments of the season.
Event Details:
• Doors Open: 5:00 PM
• Awards Screening: 7:00 PM
• Location: Hermosa Beach Community Center
• After Party to follow
Enjoy a full evening experience with sponsor activations, community engagement, and a packed house of South Bay locals.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
