About this Event
This is Listening Circle 4 of 10, a free, open, facilitated space brought to you by South Asian Heritage Trust, funded by The National Lottery.
This month we explore what it really means to find common ground across generations, cultures, faiths, and lived experiences, and what unity in diversity can look and feel like in our everyday lives.
Many of us carry a quiet tension. A fear that to connect with other communities means giving something of ourselves up. That to be welcomed, we must first become someone else.
This circle asks:
- What if that fear is getting in the way?
- What if the bridge we are looking for is not integration, but simply interaction?
This is not a debate. There are no right answers. It is a space to listen, reflect, and speak if and when you feel ready.
What to expect
A warm, welcoming, non-judgemental space. Gentle facilitation throughout. No pressure to speak as listening is equally valued. The session is scheduled for 2.5 hours, including a short break, but can conclude earlier.
Who is this for
While this series centres South Asian experiences, everyone is welcome. Come as you are.
