Are you ready to finally take the plunge into sourdough? Come join us at our hands on event where you'll learn sourdough from start to finish with hands on methods and make THIS the year where you finally master this skill that will not only benefit your taste buds, but your health as well!
Chateau Faire Le Pont Winery and Laura at Chiliwist & Raw are partnering to bring you a Sourdough For Beginners Sip & Bake Hands On Class located at Chateau Faire Le Pont Winery in Wenatchee, WA. Laura, owner of Chiliwist Bakes, a WSDA certified commercial sourdough bakery and instructor at Chiliwist & Raw, will teach you all you need to know to bake an artisan sourdough boule from start to finish. You will gain the knowledge and skills on how to mix and strengthen your dough, bulk fermentation, proofing, scoring and baking as well as how to maintain a sourdough starter! You will take home your very own starter PLUS take home your own pre-fermented boule to bake (that you shape yourself in class!). You'll keep the dough that you mix, your own provided notebook that you're welcome to take notes in throughout the class, AND handouts provided by the instructor. Come have a fun and educational evening with us while we sip local wine (water also available), enjoy some delicious food at Chateau Faire Le Pont Winery, and learn a useful (and fun!) skill that your health and tastebuds will benefit from.

Please note: tickets are non-refundable except in the case that the event is cancelled by the instructor or venue. Tickets can be gifted. If you’d like to gift a ticket, please contact us with the name of the person you’d like to gift to. If you'd like a gift certificate (these are a perfect birthday gift, mother's day gift, etc.) please contact us to be emailed a printable gift certificate. Tickets are NOT allowed to be resold.
