The kids get to do it – now the grownups can too! Last year, over 550 5th graders participated in the annual “Beauty of Bronze” program, educating elementary-age students on the art of sculpture and offering them the chance to make their own. The Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center is thrilled to offer a chance for adults to experience the “Beauty of Bronze”! On Friday, March 27th, from 6:30-8:30 PM, create your own bronze sculpture, guided by professionals.Your ticket price of $90 includes a beverage of your choice (beer, wine, or soda), all of your art materials, and provides sponsorship of one 5th-grade student. This two-hour class will be a relaxing opportunity to create art and learn a new technique. The piece you create is yours to keep (takes 6-8 weeks to return from the foundry). Space is limited.
This class will take place at our new, temporary gallery space, located at 30 South Mission Street, Suite B, Wenatchee, WA.
