Learn the very basics of sourdough baking with Heike without leaving your kitchen! We now offer our popular Sourdough 101 class online. Happening a few times every year you can jump in and learn the very basics of sourdough baking so you are ready for your next steps. We will focus on all topics around natural baking, from flour selection to different fermentation methods, share tips and tricks for home baking - including a manageable schedule for maintaining your starter culture - and take your sourdough questions.

Log in, watch the demo and ask questions: After this class you are ready to make it your very own starter, or - if you already have an established culture in your kitchen - start making breads right away.

You can also order a free starter culture from us that will be shipped via USPS one week before class so you can start your baking adventures with an established culture. Note: Flat rate shipping within the continental US $12. Sorry, we are only shipping within the US!

A handout and tool list are provided beforehand, and the class ends with an extensive Q&A session to have all your questions answered.
