This workshop is perfect for filmmakers who seek work and want to expand the possibilities of job prospect. Whether you’re working as a very beginner or seek to pivot in the typical roles to have more options. The course will benefit them by giving them strategies to open up possibilities in their careers.
Course Leader
PAULA LANDRY MBA is a writer/producer, author & award-winning creative with several features in development. Her films have debuted at Sundance, winning awards from CineVegas, Best Actors Film Fest, Columbia Pictures Screen Gems, Time Warner Showtime Audience Award, and WorldFest Houston. Her screenplays have won 2nd Rounder at Austin Film Festival, semifinalist at Made In NY, and she's a member of the Disney CTDI. She’s authored Scheduling and Budgeting Your Film, The Business of Film and Applying Entrepreneurship to the Arts. In addition to generating film business plans, budgets and schedules, she creates financial media valuations, teaching entrepreneurship, screenwriting, and producing to colleges, non-profits, and individuals. She serves as Board Co-VP for non-profits PANO Network - striving for a wider view of the entertainment industry, and programming lead for NYC chapter of BlackMagic Collective. Additional writing/producing projects include a documentary about autistic people, a thriller in the bayou and a dramady about a senior YouTube star.

Anyone is welcome to join our virtual workshops. No experience is required, if you are simply curious about a career in film or are a recent film graduate we welcome you to join us.
Please look at our Career Stages Pathways to understand where your experience lies in the grand scheme of things, it will help you navigate and plan your next steps. These workshops are for Stage 1 and 2 members.
