Join us for an immersive, hands-on sourdough experience designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to bake beautiful sourdough bread at home.
This 3-hour class walks you step-by-step through the entire sourdough process—from understanding your starter to shaping your loaf. Whether you’re brand new to sourdough or have tried (and struggled!) before, this class will simplify the process and break it down in an approachable, easy-to-understand way.
What We’ll Cover
• The fundamentals of sourdough and how it differs from commercial yeast
• Key sourdough terminology and baking verbiage
• Understanding fermentation, hydration, and timing
• How to properly feed, maintain, and store a sourdough starter
• Mixing, stretch & folds, shaping, and preparing your loaf for baking
• Troubleshooting common sourdough challenges
This is a fully interactive class—each attendee will participate in every stage of the process.
