Soup at Six: Stories of the SkyMay 7, 2026 at 6:00 PM
Look up and discover the stories written in the stars.
As part of the America 250 in Ohio May theme of “Arts, Culture, and Literature,” this special Soup at Six program explores how civilizations across the world have used the night sky to share myths, legends, and cultural traditions.
Join Lyssa, Everett, and Ethan from the Hoover-Price Planetarium for a night to remember as they guide us through the constellations and the powerful stories behind them. From ancient mythology to cultural interpretations across continents, you’ll learn how the stars have inspired storytelling, identity, and imagination for generations.
This engaging evening blends science, history, and literature—revealing how the sky has long served as one of humanity’s greatest storybooks.
Cost: $25 per person. Includes soup, bread, and dessert.
Pre-registration is required by April 30. Register online at qrco.de/bgMTnx or call 330-455-7043 during regular business hours.
All proceeds support the Museum’s mission to connect audiences through history, science, and the legacy of William McKinley.
We hope you’ll join us for this unforgettable evening under the stars!
