Sounds of Spring

Welcome spring with a live concert featuring the Columbus Concert Band, the Columbus Jazz Band and special guest soprano Taylor Frisina. Under the direction of Annamaria Mazzaferro, this special performance will feature an ensemble of musicians presenting a lively program of popular band classics including selections from “West Side Story,” music by The Beatles, and works by Giuseppe Verdi. Experience a delightful and uplifting musical evening perfect for all ages, sure to brighten your spring!

Bio

Taylor Frisina, Soprano

Taylor Frisina is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she earned her master’s degree in Musical Theatre. Her international performance credits include “Edges” and “Big Fish” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In addition to performing, Taylor is an active choreographer and educator. She is currently choreographing “Alice in Wonderland JR” with Theatre Ancaster and “Mean Girls JR” with Little Star Productions. Most recently, she appeared as the Lady of the Lake in Theatre Ancaster’s production of “Spamalot”. Taylor is delighted to return as a guest soloist with the Columbus Concert Band and sends love and gratitude to her endlessly supportive family.
