Join the members of Lomond Sound Saturday evening March 7, at The Lantern, 35 Barnes Road, St. John’s, for an old-fashioned Newfoundland time. We’ll start with some traditional dancing to live music by Lomond Sound. You’ll learn a few easy dances - no prior experience necessary. If you can walk and enjoy music, you can do this kind of dancing. And then there’ll be tunes, songs, and stories. You know you’ll have fun.
Dancing starts at 7 pm and concert starts at 8 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm. This is an all-ages event.
The members of Lomond Sound are some of our province’s top folk artists. The group comes together once a year at Soundbone’s annual music camp in central or western Newfoundland. This event on March 7 is your chance to experience this amazing group of performers in St. John’s.
Tickets: $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Reserve your tickets on the registration form.
