Calling all singers! Whether you perform on stage, sing along in the car, or hum your way through the day, you’re warmly invited to our One Day Choir at Theatre Hill.
Settle in with a pint or a latte and spend a joyful afternoon learning a song in harmony for St. Patrick's Day! We’ll be learning “Will Ye Go, Lassie, Go”, also known as “Wild Mountain Thyme” or “Purple Heather”, originally written by Scottish poet Robert Tannahill and later popularized by Belfast musician Francis McPeake.
This casual, come-as-you-are gathering is open to all voice types and levels of experience. No pressure, no auditions, just the pleasure of singing in good company, in a beautiful room.
Meet the host: Emily Follett (she/her) is a St. John’s based performer and music educator, currently teaching music and directing band and choir at Prince of Wales Collegiate. A former member of the award-winning Lady Cove Women’s Choir, she’s thrilled to join The Majestic Theatre as the One Day Choir director.
