About this Event
Join us on Venice Beach for Sound of Pride, a FREE Pride gathering featuring a collaborative songwriting workshop, live acoustic performances, and sound healing.
Together we'll create a community Pride anthem through Songwriting for Wellness, enjoy performances by queer artists Roy Covington and Robbie Reign with DFFRNT FRNDS, and a sound healing meditation led by X. ARI.
Whether you're LGBTQ+, an ally, an artist, musician, poet, writer, creative soul, wellness lover, or simply looking for a fun and welcoming experience, you're invited.
This FREE event is made possible by WisdoMania Foundation, nonprofit dedicated to blending the arts and self-care through accessible community programming.
No experience necessary. All ages welcome. Donations are appreciated.

Location
The closest parking lot (2100 Ocean Front Walk, Venice) costs $18 and is accessible on N Venice Blvd (& Speedway). Please note, this lot can get full on weekends. Of course, you can find street or meter parking which will be less expensive or free. This is more difficult later in the day.
Please see map below for where we will gather on the beach. Exact pin location will be provided prior to the event.

• Please arrive early. We will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. Please factor in traffic and parking.
• Please consider the weather as we will be outside on the beach.
• Please bring water, a journal, and a pen for the songwriting portion.
• Please bring a towel, blanket, yoga mat, or beach chair for comfort.
• Please bring extra layers or a blanket for the sound healing meditation, as it may become cooler later in the afternoon.
• Public bathrooms are within walking distance of the location.
• The event will conclude at 6:00 PM.

Meet The Artists
Roy Covington is a queer R&B singer-songwriter, music producer, and Marine Corps Veteran based in Los Angeles. Blending classic soul sensibilities with modern polish, the Virginia native brings emotional depth, discipline, and resilience to every aspect of his creative process.
Robbie Reign is a Los Angeles-based queer pop/R&B artist from San Jose, California, blending smooth R&B textures with polished pop sensibilities. His sound feels both nostalgic and fresh, bringing emotional vocals and high-energy performance together on stage with his pop band DFFRNT FRNDS, featuring Miles Franco on guitar.
X. ARI is a Los Angeles-based queer artist, songwriter, DJ, sound healer, and mental health advocate transforming pain into power through music, wellness, and community. Her work has been featured across Netflix, MTV, Bravo, Amazon Prime, e.l.f. Cosmetics, Marks & Spencer, and the award-winning game Arknights. As the founder of WisdoMania Foundation, she creates accessible arts and wellness experiences that support emotional well-being, connection, and empowerment.
