The Centre of Spiritual Living and its gorgeous labyrinth provides the perfect setting for this ultra-relaxing experience. The Centre of Spiritual Living regularly hosts events for spiritual seekers and community, anchoring the space into the frequencies of Spirit, self-discovery, kindness, community, and love, further supporting your healing and consciousness journey.

The labyrinth is bathed in the soft flicker of candlelight and is transformed into a sanctuary of sound. The evening will begin with a guided meditation to help you let go of the busyness of your day and prepare you for the sound journey. Kelly and Derek will weave a tapestry of sound to deeply relax and elevate your consciousness, creating an immersive soundscape experience like no other. The sound bath is an immersive experience, with Kelly and Derek walking around participants while playing instruments.

Instruments used include the drum, rattle, gong, Himalayan singing bowls, ocean wave drum, harmonium, crystal bowls, box tanpura, handpan, bar chime, swinging bar chime, rain stick, pala seeds, Therapy Harp, shakers, flute, and Koshi chimes.

A Sound Bath is a meditative and healing experience where you are bathed in the soothing vibrations of various instruments, including crystal singing bowls, gongs, and chimes. The resonance of these beautiful sounds guides you into a state of profound relaxation, relieving stress and anxiety, while harmonizing your body and mind.

During a sound bath, the brainwave state is altered from a normal waking state (beta) to a relaxed state (alpha), dreamlike state (theta), and even restorative state (delta). This happens through a phenomenon called entrainment, where the brain waves sync to the sound waves. This overrides our thinking mind, and our mind rests. As the mind and body relax, the heart rate and blood pressure decrease and our breathing becomes deeper. This is an excellent modality for stress reduction and nervous system regulation. This is a passive form of meditation, no need to 'do' anything but ensure your body is comfortable and receives the harmonizing sounds.

Kelly Gray is a trauma-informed healer with a unique gift for bridging science and spirituality. She trained with Dr. Gabor Maté, deepening her understanding of compassionate inquiry and trauma healing. Kelly has also journeyed with plant medicines and dietas in the traditional ways of the Shipibo people, immersing herself in the ancient healing wisdom of the Amazon. She has been initiated into the Andean Mystical Arts by the Q’ero elders of Peru, learning to weave the sacred energies of the Andes into her work.

Kelly’s area of focus in her client work is helping women heal from a Mother Wound—transforming patterns rooted in childhood emotional neglect into pathways of empowerment, self-compassion, and wholeness.

In addition to her expertise in trauma healing and spiritual practices, Kelly is a certified practitioner of Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT), offering clients a transformative journey of self-discovery through this profound modality. Her work blends the wisdom of QHHT, plant medicine, energy practices, trauma-informed coaching, and sound healing to guide individuals toward empowerment and self-discovery.

Music is also a vital thread in Kelly’s life. A trained classical vocalist and trombonist, she is most recently exploring the ethereal tones of the lyre.
