A transformational healing journey with symphonic gong, wind & sun gongs, singing bowls, crystal bowls, chimes & grounding percussion.
About this Event

Please bring anything you need to be comfortable. Yoga mats and a blanket are provided but you may wish to bring a pillow, extra blanket, another mat (or a camping mat is great!), a teddy bear (optional). Please arrive 10 minutes before to get yourself settled.

A sound bath is an immersive sound experience. Once you are lying down and comfortable, I will take you on a meditative journey using gongs, singing bowls, chimes, percussion and occasional harp. Sound baths are great if you find it difficult to relax and let go. The sound gives your mind something to focus on and become absorbed in. It is an effortless and safe way to reach deep states of consciousness, go on inner journeys, and can facilitate healing. The myriad vibrations can help your body release tension and your energetic system to shift imbalances and dissonant patterns. For most, this is restful and enjoyable, or stimulating, inspiring and transformational. Occasionally, the sound can encourage feelings and sensations to arise that aren't always comfortable during, or sometimes after, the soundbath. This is an important part of the healing process. If you can, stay with the experience and trust in the sound and yourself, to carry you through. All sound is made with a heart centred, loving and healing intention. So just focus on the shifting sounds, or on the flow of breath in your body and your connection to the ground. You can always have a chat with me afterwards if you'd like to share or need some advice.

I rarely play the gongs loudly and so most people find the experience relaxing. However, the complex sounds of the larger symphonic gongs can be unusual and challenging for those who are very sensitive or vulnerable. For this reason soundbaths are not recommended for:

  • Women in the first trimester of pregnancy
  • Children under the age of thirteen
  • Those experiencing extreme mental health problems
  • If you have a metal implant or a pacemaker
  • Those affected by sound induced epilepsy

Please get in touch if you'd like any more advice or information
