About this Event

Join Sarah and Tara, two trauma therapists, for a women’s-only sound bath centered on cultivating safety within.

As trauma-informed facilitators, we prioritize safety and stability. We’ve intentionally created this as a women-only group so you can show up without the armour. We’ve curated the space to be a low-demand, high-safety sanctuary where you can explore sound and stillness in community together.

What to bring: a yoga mat, a pillow, and a blanket. Anything else to make you feel comfortable!

How to get to the studio: Kindred Counselling is located at the Enterprise Centre at 301-3701 Hastings St, Burnaby. There is a set of stairs to the left (around 10 meters) of Anytime Fitness. You will see a sandwich board sign for Kindred Counselling just before the stairs. After the stairs, the first door on your left is the entrance to the lobby. Make your way to the end of the hallway to the meditation room.

Exchange: $40

The Facilitators:

Sarah DiFederico is a Registered Social Worker and trauma therapist. She firmly believes that the most profound change happens when you feel safe. After nearly a decade of working in mental health and psychiatry, Sarah integrated sound healing into her practice to reach places where traditional talk therapy can’t. She is dedicated is to creating a grounded, trauma-informed spaces where women can move beyond the noise of daily life and into deep, resonant rest.

Tara Marshall is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and owner of Kindred Counselling in North Burnaby, a specialized EMDR clinic. As an EMDR therapist, Tara has a passion for supporting women to overcome childhood trauma and become the women they want to be and are meant to be. However, daily life can be challenging as well; women face ongoing stressors and must navigate life's complexities. Tara is excited to offer a women-only sound bath experience where women can be themselves, relax, reset, recharge, and reconnect with themselves in a safe, judgment-free space.
