Sound Bath: A Deep Rest & Healing Experience

By popular request, the return of Kris Emory brings another immersive evening of healing sound and deep relaxation.
Join us on Saturday, March 14 at 6:00 p.m. for a 1.5-hour Sound Bath Healing Experience led by certified Reiki Master and Sound Healer Kris Emory. The session will take place in our meditation hall, overlooking the inspirational Shôyôan Teien Japanese Garden, adding to the tranquility and contemplative beauty of the evening.
Using crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other vibrational instruments, this immersive sound bath gently shifts your brainwaves into a restorative, meditative state. Many participants experience deep relaxation, emotional release, calmer breathing, and a renewed sense of clarity.
We’ll begin with a short introduction to sound healing, followed by a brief guided meditation that flows into the full sound bath immersion.
Note: Meetup RSVPs don’t reflect our full attendance. For example, we usually have at least 12 people each Sunday, including regulars who do not RSVP online.
Comfort:
Please bring a pillow or blanket if you’d like extra support while lying down.
Yoga mats and chairs will be available for all participants.
Suggested donation: $30 at the door
(accepted: cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or Donorbox)
Location: Mansfield Freeman Center for East Asian Studies
343 Washington Terrace, Middletown, CT
Give yourself the gift of rest and renewal. All are welcome.
