Join us this Sunday (the shortest day of the year) for a special Dance Temple in honour of Solstice. Our theme is SOULSTICE: a dance to honour this potent time of year in which we are presented with an opportunity to let go of what does not serve us and to reclaim what empowers us. To dance and move and embody the light within. This Sunday we will gather to dance at Buchanan Hall/Cumberland Cultural Centre with DJ DRIEM (Aaron) who is back and excited to facilitated a juicy dance with lots of ancestral rhythms and global flavours and some new creations of his own.
SPECIAL GUEST! This Sunday we are blessed to be joined by Michael Jawn on Djembe and percussion to accompany the music!

*Tops to be worn throughout the dance for all gender expressions, bikini top is the minimum coverage requested, please be respectful of this boundary.

In this space we practice self-awareness of our own bodies, and the ways in which we engage with the moving bodies of others. We define consent as freely given, enthusiastic agreement for mutual participation.
