Yvette Atienza & the East Street Groove The East Street Groove is a funk/jazz fusion trio made up of Singapore music veterans - Gavin Cardoza.( from Singapore Rock Band Energy), Robert Nalin ( from.the highly-acclaimed Paul Ponnadurai duo) and Azman Nirwan (from Art Fazil and Parking Lot Pimps). With a combined century of music experience between them, these musicians bring the funk and irresistible groove you won't be able to resist!About Yvette Atienza – VocalsA veteran in the Singapore Jazz Music Scene, Yvette moved to Singapore in 1987, starting with Singapore pop band “Urazea”, led by top drummer Jimmy Lee. She then transitioned to Jazz, playing a strong and consistent role in promoting and elevating the Jazz Vocal and Latin Jazz vocal scene in Singapore.A pioneer in Jazz Improvisation, Vocalese and Latin Jazz in this little island, Yvette led the way for the present-day jazz vocalists in Singapore. Her classical music training from her mother from the age of 3, and being born to a Spanish father, her half-Filipino, half-Spanish genes strongly drive her penchant for rhythmic vocal improvisations and vibrancy in her stylings of the standards of the Great American Songbook and the Latin Jazz AnthologyTrained in ballet with the Cultural Centre of the Philippines Ballet School and jazz with the famous Aldequer Sisters and Julie Borromeo Dance Arts Studio, Yvette is a Triple Threat , acting, dancing and singing in Manila musical productions of “The Wiz” and leading roles in local original Singapore musicals “A Quiet Moment” , produced by Mark Grigoroff productions and ‘My Love is Blind”, produced by Musical Theatre Limited, thereby adding a natural dramatic flair to her singing.Speaking English, Filipino and Spanish, Yvette is able to sing in 7 languages – English, Spanish, Filipino, Portuguese, Bahasa Malay, Bahasa Indonesia and Italian. Presently, she is also a committed and passionate Private Singing Teacher, passing on her skills and legacy to younger and aspiring singers in Singapore and from all over the world.

Your ticket of $65++ includes $65 credits to be used on beverages only and will be used to offset your bill (for beverages only) at the end of the evening.
