In this first ever performance of its kind, we bring together internationally renowned Carnatic vocalist and Padma Bhushan awardee Dr Sudha Ragunathan, and a curated ensemble of Singapore-based multi-ethnic musicians led by Bhaskar’s Arts Academy’s Music Director Dr Ghanavenothan Retnam.
Soul of the Garden City will showcase the beauty of Carnatic music while embracing the vibrant musical culture of Singapore. Featuring newly arranged works created specifically for collaboration between Carnatic, Chinese, and Malay musical traditions, the concert promises to be a thrilling celebration of music's universal language.
