About this Event

Presented by Raymond James, the Soul of the City Tour returns to Elmwood Cemetery on October 17th and 18th—this time with a whisper.

For more than twenty years, the gates of Elmwood have opened once a year to allow our storied residents to return from beyond and share their tales. But this fall, they’re not just telling stories. They're revealing secrets.

Some secrets were buried with them. Others refused to stay quiet. Hidden romances, family scandals, lost fortunes, and untold heroics—these truths linger beneath the surface, waiting to be heard.

The Soul of the City Tour is unlike anything else in Memphis. On Friday, October 17th, and Saturday, October 18th, 2025, our residents will rise once more to pull back the veil on the mysteries that shaped their lives, and their afterlives.

Tickets range from $20–$25, and children 12 and under are admitted free. Walk carefully… secrets have a way of finding those who listen.

Use code SECRETS10 at checkout and get 10% off your purchase (good through August 17th).

Grab beverages and dinner on-site, too! Friday's food truck will be Say Cheese, and Saturday night's food truck will be Hot 'n Heavy Dogs.

The Tipsy Tumbler will have beverages for sale on both nights. Some seating will be available.

The Soul of the City Tour is a walking tour and lasts approximately 75 minutes. Paths are wheelchair accessible.
