On behalf of all the members of our 2000’s & 60’s - Mid Life Crisis Band - We want to say THANK YOU for coming and supporting the band and for any donations made to SOR.We are very grateful for Ashley-Bogies West for giving us the go to have our practice there and play for an audience.
We want to give a shout out to -talented- Dan Duffy for filling in on drums- couldn’t have done it without you Dan- thank you Nike for arranging it again .
Jeff G - Thank you so much - I know you are one of the best sound guy’s. We learned a lot from you and we appreciate the opportunity to learn from you - the sound check cks and what to put instrumentally in the monitors- etc.
It takes a village to put together a performance and we are so appreciative that Bogies gave us the opportunity to
1. Play in front of an audience to get used to doing it- we hope to play for you all again in the coming months- so we can get the nerves out and sing and play better and better each time.
2. We get to Learn about sound - the equipment- ect.
3. We also learned the grit it takes to lug equipment places - time it takes to set up and tear down - we have a deeper appreciation for what goes into playing live at a venue.
4. We learned that we need to have a script of who says what before our next show so that we keep things flowing faster.
We recorded the entire two hour show and will utilize the recordings to make adjustments and to hone in on all the things we need to work on - we have the audio to take back to our instructors to work on things vocally and instrumentally.
We need opportunities like this & the capability to do live performances to get better and better - we appreciate those who gave us this opportunity - to those of you who came and supported Bogies, SOR and all the members of the band.
We were nervous because we knew one of our band members was going to propose to his girlfriend and
Our goal is to perform every couple months - on a night like Thursday’s - to give us practice in front of a crowd and to help bring traffic through when the bars need more traffic at their establishments- it helps us and it helps them.
You all are angels and we see you - your support to Bogies West the bar & grill - Live Music - us as an Upcoming Band - that is only going to keep improving with more practices and more time in front of an audience - your attendance helps so many people.
Our next show will be with the SOR January 17, 2026 at Bogies West - 12 - noon to 4 pm.
The 2000’s group will start the show- we start right at noon- play - 12-1
Then there’s the house band is playing 1-3 and then we come back on from 3-4 pm and close out the show with British Invasion music.
So come out see how much we have improved - and help support Bogies West- SOR & all the members of the bands performing. Give us your feedback - to help us improve.
